THEM v/s Them

Like most other living species that you find dwelling on  planet earth, human beings too have two genders- males and females. Male- typically the stronger, bigger and more aggressive one and the Female-characteristically the weaker, smaller and presumably docile figure. Creation of life as we know is incomprehensible if any one of these two is absent.

Peeking back into history we find that the female clan has always held on to the lower order of things or shall I say –“forced to stay so”. Sometimes it feels as if they were created just for the purpose of regeneration of the lost numbers, or is it that they were meant to serve the more volatile and self appointed care-takers of the species. Always overtaken and dominated in many ways by the opposite gender. Always so submissive and ready to agree with. Among many questions whose answers evade my mind, there is this one which I wanted to share with my readers:  “the males dominated and they allowed it, why?”
Now that was history... it was the case until a few years back, but now is it still the case? Are women still at the start line or have they already overtaken men in many fields. Think about it for a moment, how many offices have a female head now, how many women workers do we see in the administrative aspects of work. How many ladies are doing what men used to do in the corporate sector. Well lets take other scenarios where I need you to visualize- lady pilots, lady chefs, lady doctors, lady politicians, lady architects, lady teachers, lady singers and artists... and the rest is up to your imagination.
We apparently have entered a new era where we find the winds of change blowing high and low in the more conscious world, where women are not confined inside the walls of a home and have successfully ventured out into the world where they are conjuring up novel possibilities and sheer opportunities for themselves. Every field where men once had a total reign are gradually shifting towards a sharing if not total domination by the so seen more fragile gender.
Is it a warning for the men clan... is all this a prelude to something huge and revolutionary that is about to happen, something that is still brewing and is not ripe enough. Should all this be taken as a sign and a threat. Well some men are worried and disappointed and some are pretty comfortable with all this and some advocate it too.

And as of what I think-  it doesn't really matter to me as long as the game runs fair, Oh! With fair I mean “just”. As long as the women know that whether a home maker or a president, we need them and they need us to be with each other through all roughs and smooths of life and carry the human spirit forward.
Viva life and viva togetherness.
