I remember very well, in my first class at a prestigious technical institute of India, my Economics teacher asked, "Who all aspire to become entrepreneurs?". Without any hesitation or thought I raised my hand but the fact was, I didn't even have a slightest idea of what I was going to start or innovate to become an entrepreneur. Later, I used to tell one of my crush that I will start a company one day and will appoint you as my secretary to have you beside me all day and spend time with you (of course, she didn't fall in love with me, even for that!!). I had big dreams, very big, but no clear idea of what they were or how to proceed.
Later I joined as a writer (blogger) in a tech blog because of my interest in writing. I enjoyed my job in the beginning and learnt a lot of things from my boss. Later when it was winter, I had problem with the cold weather of North India and I wanted to take leave for a month and spend time with my family in the south. But my boss rejected my leave and did what all he can do to keep me there. This was the point when I again started thinking about my Entrepreneur ideas. "If I had a website of my own and if I'm not working for somebody else, I could have been with my family enjoying and travelling wherever I want to. I would definitely implement freelancing jobs and flexibility to my fellow writers." Then I started thinking about a whole new blog and discussed about my ideas with all my friends and they too supported me. I felt good !...
I left that job soon, because the pay was not according to our page or article rankings and some other selfish reasons. By this time I formed a good team of writers as you can see in this blog and some guys who are always behind the scenes. We planned a lot about the theme of website, designing and all. Came up with some funny names and it was always fun planning everything with my friends, who are also the writers in this blog and some are yet to write. So, one day I took a funny name and wanted to buy the domain and started using my debit card but unfortunately Indian debit cards won't work. So, we are looking for a good day and a good name to start everything fresh and meanwhile doing research on starting a website along with my regular job near my hometown. Hope all our readers will enjoy more, if we include other topics too.
Any suggestions, please you are welcome to mention them in the comments.
